Hi Pamela, how did you measure your flour? Be sure to spoon and level (or use a kitchen scale) to ensure the flour isn’t over measured. Too much flour can cause baked goods to dry out. It’s also possible the rolls were over baked. For next time, you can try reducing the bake time by just a minute or two. Thank you for giving these a try!

Thank you for this quicker recipe for cinnamon rolls. I have not made them in awhile because how long it normally takes. I also will try the overnight recipe you have with two rises, it is more familiar to me, like the ones from Joy of Cooking on the shelf. My spouse helped me make these delights and then we did the Alternative cream cheese frosting by Diane!

Rolls baked up nice, fluffy, and moist. Next time we will add raisins to make it more sweet and delicious. Best to rotate half way through baking and remove at 24 minutes to avoid overly browned crust edges.
This is first time making these rolls and well worth the two hours from mixing to enjoying! Thank you!
